Kurt Versen has developed a line of round downlights, wall washers, directional and slope fixtures that optimize the performance of low wattage T4 and T6 Metal Halide Lamps. A complete line of 4" and 6" apertures are available in 20, 39, 70 & 150W. The lower wattage 20 & 39W lamps are appropriate for low ceilings in the 8' to 20' range. The higher wattage 70 & 150W lamps are suitable for uses in the medium to high ceiling applications. Additionally, a super narrow optical system can be utilized for ceilings up to 70 feet.
Kurt Versen designed the optical systems to provide very high efficiencies of up to 85% with minimal visual presence. The deeply shielded lower cones allow these performances to be achieved with traditional Kurt Versen low brightness.
The wall washers are offered in both open style and lensed apertures. The design allows for easy fine tuning adjustments. This versatility along with the keyed torsion springs on the lower cone assures uniform patterns of illumination with fewer installation complications.
The adjustable fixtures provide lighting solutions for directional applications including the more complex, sloped ceiling condition. They provide 360° rotation and the option to angulate 0-30°, then lock into place. Multiple beam options allow highlighting or general illumination.
This new line provides an appropriate visual scale for all point source applications and provides lighting solutions that address stringent energy mandates.
